Chenxian Ye is a graduate student in the Program of Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Pittsburgh. In 2018 she received her BS in Pharmacology from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China. She then moved to the University of Michigan for more immunology training, graduating in 2020 with a MS in Microbiology and Immunology. During that time, she focused on iron-mediated regulation of T cell responses in Dr. Cheong-Hee Chang’s lab and developed an interest in immunometabolism. Chenxian joined the lab in March 2022.
Chenxian is interested in the metabolic regulation of Treg cells in tumor microenvironment. Her goal is to study potential strategies to target Treg-mediated immunosuppression and improve anti-tumor responses.
